When people think about office safety, they may only consider items such as trip and fall hazards or sharp objects. However, office safety encompasses much more than that. One of the main problems, regarding office safety, is the concept of office safety itself. If an employee isn’t working in an industrial or construction environment it may. On the surface, it may appear that there is no cause for extra diligence. However, OSHA statistics and mandatory regulations say otherwise! (OSHA Section 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act) The result of office injuries amounts to millions of dollars in employer funded Workers' Compensation and medical costs, annually.
