Scaffolding, whether it is supported or suspended, is dangerous to the employees above and below the scaffolding. Whenever a worker leaves the ground, the risk of an accident occurring increases dramatically. There are more than 10,000 scaffold related injuries and hundreds of deaths reported annually. Employees that work on or near scaffolding need to, not only make a safe work environment for themselves, but others around them. OSHA has mandated that workers be trained on how to erect scaffolding safely, zoning, and use the work platforms. These products will help employers meet scaffold safety training requirements of OSHA's Scaffolding regulation. Topics include: Responsibilities of a "scaffold expert", Creating a level and stable foundation, Platforms and planking, The danger of power lines, Ramps and walkways, Platform hazards, Personal fall arrest systems, Guarding against falling objects, and more.

OSHA's Position On Scaffolding in Construction Training
The erection of correctly designed construction scaffolding is strictly regulated by OSHA due to the potential dangers that employees, on the scaffold and under the scaffold, are subject to. Therefore, safety training is a number one priority when it comes to building a construction scaffold before proceeding. In order to address the fact that the Bureau of Labor Statistics has reported that, in 2010, 45 fatalities were the result of scaffolding accidents, OSHA has emphasized that employers are obligated to make sure that all scaffold workers are correctly trained. As such, the subjects that are covered in our training videos include:
