Time management can be difficult, as most adults already feel as though there isn’t enough time in the day to complete their daily task (both inside and outside of work). It’s a good idea not to overload yourself with tasks, as it’ll be hard to manage your time when you’ve spread yourself too thin. Ultimately, this can lead to increased feelings of stress which can take a toll on mental health. Fortunately, a few tweaks in our routine can be very helpful in effectively managing time to complete more tasks. In addition to using the following infographic to get into a better routine, here are some ways too reduce stress if you’re feeling the pressure:
Reduce the “stressors” in your life (these can include daunting tasks, stressful situations, and people)
Meditation (5 minutes a day has been shown to drastically reduce stress)
Remove yourself from your desk and your job tasks for a few minutes every hour
Get plenty of sleep
Eat well and drink plenty of water
Spend time every day doing something you love
Know the difference between good stress and bad stress
