Course Description
Because severe weather can strike anywhere without notice, you must be ready to respond appropriately. Lightning, flooding, pounding hail, tornadoes, and hurricanes cause property damage, injuries, and fatalities in all parts of the world every year. While any one of these weather events can cause destruction alone, when their effects are combined, the consequences can be devastating. For this reason, it is imperative that everyone be prepared for inclement conditions, no matter where they live and work. This program reviews the proper actions that should be taken before, during, and after a severe weather event.
