Disclaimer: Federal law entitles all employees to a safe workplace per the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) General Duty Clause. Although the legal interpretations of this clause are always expanding, it may not cover all potential harm. Professional bodies often publish their own guidance on safety and well being that should be referenced.
