Course Overview

A knife has no brain, so you have to use yours. This course drives home the dangerous reality that a blade cannot distinguish between cutting a box and slicing your thumb. We cut through the noise to focus on essential industrial knife safety, explaining why a "simple" laceration can actually result in severed tendons and permanent nerve damage. Participants will learn the cardinal rules of cutting, always away from the body, and why a dull blade is actually a dangerous liability waiting to slip. The training also emphasizes the critical role of Cut-Resistant Gloves (PPE) and proper storage, ensuring you finish your shift with the same number of fingers you started with.
