Course Overview

This essential awareness course prepares business personnel to recognize, assess, and initiate the correct initial response to threats involving Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) hazards, often referred to as CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive) incidents. Participants will learn the unique characteristics and indicators of each agent type, from the immediate toxic effects of chemical agents to the delayed onset of biological threats and the long-term dangers of radiological materials. The training covers critical hazard recognition , initial risk mitigation steps, the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) , fundamental decontamination procedures, and protocols for coordinating with local emergency responders and adhering to established Incident Command System (ICS) principles to minimize injuries and protect business assets during a crisis.
