Recognize the risk of falls when working at heights.

Know your responsibilities for safe work at heights.

Course Overview

Do you have a fear of heights? When working at heights, you can tell right away who has a fear of heights and who doesn’t. For some workers, even working on a stepstool makes them reconsider their career choices. Others don’t get nervous until they're on a roof, or even up several stories high. Then others have nerves of steel, even when working from towers.

Whatever your natural inclination toward heights, everyone must respect work at height. This means making proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring the proper safeguards are in place, and taking special care in movements, connections, and communication.

In this training, you will learn to identify:

  • the risk of falls and working at heights
  • methods and regulations for fall prevention
  • examples and requirements for fall protection
  • and the responsibilities that employers have toward promoting safe work at heights for their employees.

Falls from height - and falling objects - present serious and life-threatening hazards for workers on many job sites. If your work involves any type of elevation, this training is for you!

This program is available with Spanish, French, and Korean closed captions.
