Course Overview

This course provides essential safety training for operators involved in abrasive blasting (commonly known as sandblasting). It breaks down the severe health and physical hazards associated with high-pressure surface preparation, including the risk of silicosis from respirable dust and injuries from high-velocity media. The training details the critical inspection of equipment, such as blast pots, hoses, nozzles, and deadman switches, to ensure operational integrity.
