Workplace fatigue is caused by a lack of sleep, and adequate sleep is an absolute necessity for everyone. Without enough sleep, it can affect you drastically both physically and mentally- often affecting every area of your life. People who don’t get enough sleep can actually be a danger to other people, particularly at work in industries where complete attention and focus is critical. Despite this, most Americans are not getting enough sleep each night, even less so than they did 60 years ago, according to the University of Chicago.
