That’s is why housekeeping is probably your most important safety precaution. Keep your best to clear of extra containers, equipment and chemicals. When a chemical spill on a clean and clear bench, clean up is easy, when it happens to crowded dirty bench top, unexpected reactions can occur and multiply the mess often resulting in a mixed of chemicals and reactions and broken glass. So, keep your work area clean and clear.
