His expertise is built from the ground up. David grew up in the Family construction business and was formally trained in the electrical trades, giving him a foundational understanding of jobsite realities. This practical beginning instilled a deep commitment to safety, which he has cultivated for over two decades by conducting labs and site visits - ranging from detailed chemical handling in laboratories to complex operations in large-scale production plants and active commercial construction sites.

Dr. LaFazia pairs his practical skills with rigorous academic credentials, holding two degrees in physics and a doctorate in educational leadership focused on curriculum development. As a "hands-on, minds-on" academic leader, he has broadened his expertise across a wide spectrum of Career and Technical Education (CTE) fields, including (but certainly not limited to) Refrigeration/HVAC, Construction Management, Renewable Energy & Building Science, Manufacturing (Production & Logistics), and Engineering Technologies (Architectural, Civil & Environmental).

A regular contributor to the Atlantic Training brand since 2021, David makes it his mission to stay at the forefront of industry needs. He has built a career on forming and maintaining strong connections with industry members and other subject-matter experts. Through these relationships - and aided by a keen eye for detail, he ensures all content is relevant, current, and directly applicable to the real-world challenges safety professionals and employees face today.

With a background that spans heavy manufacturing, industrial services, and global chemical distribution, Aslan has a proven track record of reducing workplace incidents through behavior-based safety initiatives and strategic KPI development. Holding a degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University, she bridges the gap between rigid regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, DOT, and MSHA) and practical, field-ready solutions. At Atlantic Training, Aslan leverages her expertise as a Subject Matter Expert and Content Reviewer to ensure safety curricula are technically precise, engaging, and rooted in a "safety-first" culture.

A Maxwell Leadership Certified Speaker, Trainer, Coach, and Certified Maxwell DISC Consultant, Dr. Rachael specializes in helping individuals understand communication styles, reduce workplace tension, and strengthen collaboration. Holding a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership & Innovation, she bridges theory and practice through high-energy, results-focused sessions that inspire clarity, confidence, and meaningful connection across organizations.

After college, he began traveling the country, working side by side with the EHS and HR professionals assisting with their company's safety processes. His work took him directly onto their factory floors, active construction sites, and into their operations facilities.

Anthony saw firsthand what happens when training is just a box to check, and he knew there had to be a better way. He began Compliance and Safety in 2005, which would later become what you see today, Atlantic Training. His passion is simple: to create training that people actually pay attention to. Training that's practical, engaging, and genuinely keeps people safe on the job, without drama.
