Fall Protection (Construction) Details
There are various types of fall protection such as guardrails, safety nets and covers for open surfaces. Falls from any height can cause serious injury. OSHA requires fall protection if work is done at six feet or higher. Personal fall system protection can be a full body harness, lanyard, snap hooks and an anchorage point. Employees must be kept informed of fall protections, OSHA standards, equipment and everything necessary to prevent falls. This program provides information on the various types of fall protection, when and how to use the protective equipment with emphasis on safety.
Topics included in this safety video are: different types of fall protection including guardrails, safety nets and a cover, the 5 components of a personal fall arrest system - full body harness, a lanyard, snaphooks, an anchorage point and knowledge of how the system works and how to take care of the equipment, the swing factor, a Warning Line System for a Controlled Access Zone, a Safety Monitoring System, a safety monitor, a fall protection plan, written certification records, and retrieving a person who has fallen.

To return an item simply fill out our return authorization form and we will contact you within 1-2 business days of receipt with an RA number and ship to address where you can return your item. Please note that All downloadable materials can not be returned.
