   Respirator Selection (Short Version)
Anyone wearing a respirator must be trained and authorized by the company in several different areas such as how to put on and take off the respirator. We call that donning and doffing. The process is simple, but it does require some basic knowledge, which we'll now review. You are being asked to select the respirator that provides the most acceptable fit. A mirror must be provided to assist you in evaluating the fit and positioning of the respirator. Each respirator represents a different size and shape and if fitted and used properly, will provide adequate protection. Hold each face-piece up to the face and eliminate those that do not give you an acceptable fit. Put the most comfortable mask on your face and wear it for at least 5 minutes.

Fit Testing Under New NIOSH Standards
This short program explains the new rules and procedures for proper fit testing of respiratory equipment. These new standards have established new filtering efficiency and performance criteria for all non-powered, air-purifying, particulate-filter respirators. The purpose of fit testing is to make sure the respirator you use will not leak, under normal use and working conditions. Almost any respirator you use will appear to fit, but individuals wearing a respirator may not always be able to detect a leak; therefore a good fit testing program is necessary.

Advanced Fire Extinguisher Training (Short Version)
Fire extinguishers and extinguishing materials have been around for a long time. You've seen them everywhere; they're very useful and have saved many lives. But not everyone understands them or knows how to use them.  The subject for this training program is understanding more about extinguishers and how they work. The objective of the training is to save lives and property, in that order. Always remember that life safety is much more important than property.

   Jump Start Your Battery Safety
A car battery is a rechargeable cell in the starting-lighting-ignition variety of batteries. Lead acid batteries are the oldest style of rechargeable batteries. A high power output of a car battery is necessary to supply a high current draw needed for the engine starter. This program covers battery care, maintenance, jump-starting and much more with an emphasis on safety.

Employee Safety Orientation For Automotive Personnel
This program is an overview of your safety responsibilities to help you perform your job safely. Safety is a responsibility that’s important to you, the company, and to your fellow employees. Our basic safety policy is simply this: "We don't have any job that can't be performed safely." Don't take short cuts or risks. There's only one-way to perform your job. If it can't be done safely, we don't want you to do it. That's our policy and your obligation.

   Hand and Power Tool Safety
This program can't possibly cover all hand and power tools and all the safety rules associated with using these items, but the point we want to stress right up front, is safety must be exercised every time anyone uses hand and power tools. Safety awareness is of vital importance, so let's begin the program with some basics.

   Preventing Back Injury
