We wanted to know *everything*: their safety training methods, their biggest challenges, and how their organization *really* views safety. The feedback was incredible, and we loved gaining this insight.<\/p>\n<p>A lot of the responses were also pretty surprising. As a safety training provider, there were things we had no idea were issues with workplace safety training that we had been overlooking. Our goal with this <strong>safety professionals survey<\/strong> was not to collect research to try to better sell, but to simply and honestly be the solution to their qualms with safety training and to make this aspect of their job easier and more effective. Ultimately, we have the same goal as them: To ensure that every hardworking American returns home safe and healthy at the end of each and every workday.<\/p>\n<p>So, what did the safety professionals have to say? We\u00a0are honored\u00a0that so many safety professionals took the time to share with us the perils and pitfalls of safety training for them, and we&#8217;ll continue to try and be the\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atlantictraining.com\/\">complete safety solution<\/a> \u00a0for them.<\/p>\n<h3>And Now, For the Funny (and Sad) Responses&#8230;<\/h3>\n<p><em>What did you not like about [Online training]?<\/em>&#8220;In the beginning, online training would put you to sleep have you dozing before the narrator has finished speaking about the training.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>How does your organization view safety training?<\/em>&#8220;Organization &#8211; doesn&#8217;t care.\u00a0Me &#8211; AN\u00a0ABSOLUTE NECESSITY&#8221;&#8220;Mostly just\u00a0lets\u00a0get this over with.&#8221;&#8220;Redheaded stepchild, a necessary evil, getting ANY $$ approved is like pulling teeth. Most dept. managers have a lackadaisical attitude towards safety which reflects in their personnel.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>What do you look for in a safety training provider?<\/em>&#8220;Money diggerz\u00a0(&#8230;.?)&#8221;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Frequently Asked Questions About This Safety Survey<\/h2>\n<h3>What was the biggest challenge safety professionals reported?<\/h3>\n<p>By far, the number one challenge reported was <strong>Time<\/strong>. This was followed by Cost, Management buy-in, and Scheduling. It shows that for most safety pros, the biggest battle is finding the time in the workday to get training done.<\/p>\n<h3>What did safety professionals not like about online training?<\/h3>\n<p>The top complaint from our <strong>safety professionals survey<\/strong> was a <strong>lack of human interaction<\/strong> and the inability to ask questions in real-time. This was followed by technology issues, low retention, and cost.<\/p>\n<h3>What do safety professionals look for in a training provider?<\/h3>\n<p>The most important factors were <strong>Knowledge<\/strong> and <strong>Quality of Content<\/strong>. This was followed by having access to all required training, up-to-date content, ease of use, and finally, price.
