OSHA’s Public Injury Records Rule Gets Final Needed Approval

“Any day now, OSHA could publish its final rule requiring electronic workplace injury records to be made publicly available.

The White House’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs concluded its review of the regulation, “Improve Tracking of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses.” OSHA is now free to publish the rule when it’s ready.

OSHA’s stated purpose of the rule is to expand electronic recordkeeping for injuries and illnesses.” -Safety News Alert
