An old label, a razor blade and a cluttered match. Even though every experience lab workers knows better accidents may still happen. That’s is why housekeeping is probably your most important safety precaution. Keep your best to clear of extra containers, equipment and chemicals. When a chemical spill on a clean and clear bench, clean up is easy, when it happens to crowded dirty bench top, unexpected reactions can occur and multiply the mess often resulting in a mixed of chemicals and reactions and broken glass. So, keep your work area clean and clear.
